FOR-TRADE: 1974 VW Beetle in Sarsfield, Ontario for sale

I have a 1974 VW Beetle for sale or trade .
The previous owner had the car for 10 years and he spent quite a bit of money getting the body painted and dressing it up with new rims , tires , seat covers, window rubbers , new factory engine from VW , engine chrome tinwork and stereo system .
The engine runs great .
The bug needs to have the front beam replaced due to rust and I have a spare beam in good condition to swap out .
There are a few small holes to be patched in the driver's floorpan and the front driver's fender has a few dents .
The brake lines in the driver's area need to be replaced and I have those .
It will need a new bearing in the steering column and a new muffler .
I purchased some new items from CIP1 in B.C. for the bug ; an ignition switch lock cylinder , headlight trim rings , chrome T-Bars , plus other small items .
With a bit of TLC , this is one head-turner of a bug and you could take it to a car shows and go buggin' this summer !
I'll consider a trade for a late 70's / early 80's Camaro or Firebird with a value around $ 6000 .
I paid $ 6000 for the bug a few years ago .
If no trade offers , I'll sell it for $ 5000 cash , FIRM .
Update 18/05/15 : I'm working on fixing the above mentioned items and as I knock each one off the list , the price of the bug will go up exponentially :)
